100% kiwi owned and operated, Kim Chan Events is founded and run by Kim Chan who has had a passion for for arranging flowers since childhood. As a young entrepreneur, Kim created a highly successful florist business, Corporate Stems. A change of scene took her to Hong Kong where she gained extensive experience in the wedding and corporate event styling industry through her company Kim Chan Flowers. In 2009, Kim returned to settle in her hometown of Christchurch and created Kim Chan Events.

Kim worked alongside me during the design and build of a unique corporate transformation experience. My task was to transform a three thousand square meter warehouse into a cross between a mission statement, interactive museum and corporate roadshow.
The process took about five weeks and Kim was an essential part of the team, translating brainstorming sessions into tangible designs. She coordinated painters, builders, audio-visual technicians and a variety of specialists in order to achieve the vision.
Since the early 1990s, we have worked with a diverse range of clients, from planning and decorating weddings for local couples or couples returning home, to client events for Harcourts, Christchurch Casino, LVMH Group, Designer Anna Sui, Swire, Heineken, M&C Saatchi, New Zealand Rugby Football Union, the Hong Kong Sevens, Ballantynes and the Canterbury District Health Board.
