100% Sustainable, Edible, Plantable
Alongside our first ever exhibition at MEETINGS2022, we were privileged to assist the Auckland Convention Bureau (ACB) with their 100% sustainable, edible, plantable, theming.
To achieve the vision of “100% sustainable, edible, plantable theming”, we used live plants – herbs, vegetable plants, natives and fruit trees – which we then donated to local environmental and community groups, and schools.
Many of the plants we pre-organised to ensure everything had a home – including sourcing butterfly plants for a local school with butterfly garden.
We absolutely loved being a part of this project and being able to reflect our own core values of sustainability.
New Brighton Community Gardens
Some of the fruit trees, herbs and a pine nut tree were donated to the New Brighton Community Gardens.
Cotswold School
Cotswold School received some of the fruit trees, herbs and vegetable plants. It was lovely to see the children involved in planting these.
“I just wanted to give you an update on the trees and plants you donated to the school! They have all been planted into the school gardens. We are very happy to have these plants as they seem to be growing very well despite the frost, so thank you! Thanks again for this lovely donation.”

Christchurch Foundation’s Tūī Project
All the native plants were donated to the Christchurch Foundation’s Tūī Project for regeneration of native birdlife in the city.
